Adway Gopakumar co-founded Liberation Through Education and assumes the role of CEO and Chairman. As co-founder, Adway was responsible for conducting the first project on behalf of a school in Trivandrum, India. Apart from running the organization, Adway is an avid tennis player and a college student at Emory University. He is pursuing a B.S. in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology and a minor in Neuroethics on the pre-med track.
Benjamin Ambrose co-founded Liberation Through Education and assumes the role of CFO. As co-founder, he was responsible for getting Liberation Through Education up and running with his financial background and passion for education. While managing the financial status of LTE, Ben currently attends Arizona State University where he studies Biophysics on the pre-med track.
Connor Parrish serves as one of the two Directors of Outreach for Liberation Through Education. Being fluent in Spanish, Connor’s responsibilities include assessing the educational needs of our primary and university level students in Alamos, Mexico while leading weekly mentor sessions. He is currently a student at Emory University where he is pursuing a B.S. in Quantitative Sciences and a minor in Economics.
Rahil Mahmood serves as one of the two Directors of Outreach for Liberation Through Education. His responsibilities include reaching out to prospective schools in different parts of the world and then communicating with them on a weekly basis to understand their needs. He is currently a student at Emory University, where he is pursuing a B.S. in Biology and a minor in Neuroethics.
